The Glasshouse Mountains and National Park provide a beautiful backdrop and country atmosphere to the town of Beerwah. The mountains carry Aboriginal names but were named by Captain Cook in 1770. The Glasshouse Mountains includes Mt Beerwah, Mt Tibrogargan, Mt Ngungun and Mt Coonowrin. The mountains are symbolic to the Sunshine Coast and in particular the town of Beerwah.

Beerwah is within 30 minutes driving distance to the Sunshine Coast and 60 minutes to Brisbane. The Maleny township and the fascinating cottage craft shops on the Blackall range is just up the road. Kilcoy and Lake Somerset are to the near west. A fast train services Beerwah and will get you to the Brisbane domestic and international airport, Brisbane and to Queensland’s northern regions.

Beerwah is the place to be for exploring and enjoying many of life’s pleasures. It is a country lifestyle and community that has easy access to major shops and services.
